Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Plant’s rolled metal sales flat in Jan–Nov

MOSCOW, Dec 22 (PRIME) -- The sales of rolled metal products by Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Plant, a unit of Russian metals and mining group Mechel, changed marginally on the year, amounting to 2.8 million tonnes in January–November, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.

The sales of hot-rolled thin sheets increased by 41% to more than 68,000 tonnes, of shaped sections by 90% to 96,000 tonnes.

The sales of bars rose by 20% to 303,000 tonnes, and the sales of sheets from carbon steel soared by 28% to more than 25,000 tonnes, the company said.
